Yearly Jaguar F-Pace Complaints, Investigations, and Recalls
If you purchased a new F-Pace in the last few years, here’s what you should know about the complaints, investigations, and recalls for each model, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration:
2016 Jaguar F-Pace
2017 Jaguar F-Pace
The NHTSA has received complaints about:
- Electrical systems
- Steering
- Fuel system
- Visibility
- Electronic stability control
- Seat belts
- Brakes
- Suspension
- Airbags
- Structure
Reasons for recalls include:
- The instrument cluster will occasionally go blank. This prevents the driver from seeing data like vehicle speed, which could make the vehicle harder to control, and could lead to a crash.
- Improperly secured fuel pump may cause a fuel leak. A fuel leak increases the risk of a fire, especially if there is an accident.
- Incorrect driveshaft may have been installed. This could cause the driver to lose power. If the vehicle’s already in motion, especially with traffic around, this increases the risk of an accident.
2018 Jaguar F-Pace

Seek Legal Assistance for Your Jaguar F-Pace
If you’ve experienced one of the problems above, or something similar, you can report it directly to the NHTSA so they can compile your complaint in their database. If they receive enough complaints on the same topic, they may launch an investigation into the matter.Report your problem within the original manufacturer’s warranty period and you will have the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act working in your favor. This federal law was designed to protect consumers from unethical warranty practices. If a dealership failed to fix a warrantable defect within three or more attempts and/or your vehicle has been 20 or more days out of service, you may have a viable suit against the manufacturer for breach of warranty.
You may also have state lemon laws on your side. Like the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, these laws exist to extend extra protection to you, the consumer.
Don’t keep driving your Jaguar F-Pace back to the dealership for repairs. Robison Lemon Law Group LLC can help you navigate both the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act and state lemon laws to ensure you receive the justice you deserve.
